Import Trades from ThinkorSwim (TOS)
You can connect ThinkorSwim (TOS) to TradeJournal.co to automatically import and journal your trades. TradeJournal.co supports file upload and API connections for ThinkorSwim (TOS).
To Import Fees & Commissions Use TD Ameritrade Broker Import
- Open the TOS Desktop Application
- At the top of the window, select a specific account from the dropdown list (instead of "ALL ACCOUNTS").
- Go to the "Monitor" tab & Choose "Account Statement"
- These are tabs at the top middle of the TOS application.
- Select Date Range
- Click the dropdown at the top of the Account Statement and select the date range you wish to import.
- Wait for the "Trade History" section to fill in with your trades from that range
- Make sure the Trade History section is sorted by Exec Time, with the oldest first.
- Note that if you are looking for data far in the past this may take a while.
- Must be DEFAULT COLS
- "Export to file"
- Click the actions menu at the top right of the window, and select "Export to file" from the menu that displays.
- Save the file
- File import: Upload a statement or export from ThinkorSwim (TOS) (CSV, Excel, or broker-specific format) via Import.
Go to Import on TradeJournal.co to connect ThinkorSwim (TOS) and start journaling your trades.
