Thought process before during after:
- DXY looking for buyside liquidity
- EU sell
- Looked like a 4H High was being violated but the candle still had to print and when it did, it was not a 4H High being violated
- It was definitely a 1H High being grabbed on EU
- DXY 1H low was not violated, could say it is like a divergence.
- My "15min special thing" happened as we were going into NYOKZ.
- 1H high was violated before NYOKZ but "15m special thing"formed while going into NYOKZ
- Price reached 0.62 on 5min EU
- Price then displaced lower with a 5min fvg where I then entered
- Price reached 1:2rr and I set BE but price took me out
- IF I used the 1st candle high of the 3 candles that forms the fvg as a SL instead of 2nd candle high. I would have set BE only later and my trade would have hit TP for a 1:3rr
OVERALL...
- Trade hit BE
- Set SL at first candle high
- These 1H/4H Liquidity grabs while in NYOKZ or going into NYOKZ works great with the "15min special thing".
