I thought because of the sudden rise in price a few days ago which may be due to institutional buying the price is going to come down and retest the previous price, so I took a short position, exited early but made enough to counter commisions, could have made twice of this if I stuck

It may not be institutional buying but I saw the price going down and decided to ride the wave
