BOOKMAP, pullback,

Thesis: We opened right below supply so I was not looking for ideas to get long unless we got above 4103. I did not want to enter shorts immediately either because we had an overnight sell off so I want to look for a relief bounce and look for ways to get short at supply or 78.6% retracement level. 

Market Context: We see strong buying off the open and we immediately touch supply with a selloff right after. I was going to enter there but I truly wanted to see another pullback to see if the sellers were active at that supply zone. Minutes later we got another rally up to that supply zone where we put in a lower high and I saw the ask strong and moving down as we moved down. 

Where/Why did I enter: I entered when I saw a lower high form along with the ask wall look strong and move down as we moved lower which showed an interest in sellers. 

Where/Why did I exit: I exited into momentum pushing down to the 4hr demand where we bounced in the morning. I exited because I wanted to lock in profit as it was friday and I wanted to end the week strong. 

How can I improve: Some things I can improve is taking into consideration that there was news at 10 so holding a put through the news was very risky. If it went the other way it would have been a bigger loss. 

What I did well: I respected my stop loss and did not sell as soon as it touched high of day but rather saw that we were being absorbed at the highs and we then pushed lower. I managed to keep my feelings intact and did not let the touch of my stop loss make me close my trade

Thesis: We were opening below 30 minute supply with an overnight rally. I wanted to see a consolidation below supply to show acceptance that sellers do not want to push higher with good signs of selling to the downside.

Market Context: We see aggressive selling off the open wiping out the bids where we then saw a bottom at 4150-4155. We rejected off VWAP but I waited patiently because I saw the ask was weak so I was not convinced that this was an area for sellers to hold

Where/Why did I enter: The bounce pushed a bit higher to slightly below the open where sellers stepped in by showing a 300 and 200 passive seller right at 4166. I entered puts as I saw aggressive selling right after and stop loss right at that sell wall.

Where/Why did I exit: I exited when we saw a strong push of LOD but a wick right after showing absorption on the tape. I knew this was an area where we bounced so I really wanted to see follow through in order for me to continue to hold the trade

How can I improve: One thing I could have improved on in this trade is maybe being a bit more patient because we had a selloff all day today and my stop loss or target never hit.

What I did well: I was patient today as I did not want to enter right off the open but wanted to see the ASK get stronger, took profits when the strong selling showed absorption at the lows, and had a no emotion trade today
