Day Summary: Today I had a Monday surprise of MP stock up 18% in the rpemarket and running at the open, so I was focused on managing some 3dte call options at the open. As usual, that brings my mind away from day trading, and I even mentally recognized that, but proceeded to trade anyways on the euphoria from my $290 win on MP. As you'd imagine, I made a poor decision because I was focused on making money instead of the process of taking a good trade. I then revenge traded, and although it worked out, was not a smart decision and I'm lucky it was a winning trade and that I got out where I did (see Trade 2 below).
Overall, I was very disappointed in my trading today and now have to make sure I come out tomorrow and just get back to focusing on putting on a good trade. Let the market come to you.

- overall a better trade than Trade 1, but still no reason to take this trade - risky
- good thing I got out where i did - I could feel that i was on the wrong side
- at least I used 1 contract on this trade instead of 2
- got lucky on this trade, I'll take it, but don't want to rely on luck
