Day Summary: I am doing this review on a Monday but it is for the previous Friday's trading session. That is one of the reasons it is so important to do DRCs on the same day because now the feeling of the price action, the overall day's feel and the feeling of my trades has now already disappated. However, I do know that I did a very good job of being patient for my set up on Friday but I did miss a lot of opportunities to trade the trend long to the supply zone of the recent 30min range (see below)
TRADES
Long 1 Contract @ 21 EMA Trap / Box Trade FakeOut
- good job waiting for shorts to get trapped under the 21 EMA even though I missed a lot of opportunities to long the 21 EMA bounces from support on the way up
- good job recognizing HL just before entry and not hesitating to get in
- decent hold but I should have at least targeted 5319.25 target line or consolidation highs
- this trade tends to work better on strong trending days - today was a good example
- uptrending on all time frames - good
- good job going with the trend
FIX: Good job waiting for a set up but I should also remember to buy pullbacks to support/pops to resistance during a strong trending day
