1d:3m (Futures Trades) Trend Continuation Short
- I took 2 trades today. One was 3.5 point loser one was a 6.5 point winner. I am very happy with the way that the trend continuation strategy is working so far but im still slightly confused and uncertain on when to get aggressive into breakouts or breakdowns and when to use each moving average. The first trade I got in at vwap risking the 21 moving average. The second trade I got in at the retest of the 21 after we broke it back to the downside. This trade was nice but I sold so early. I think that my new rule is once I am correct I have to either sell for 10 points extended from the 8 moving average or if we are grinding and we hit the 8 moving average.

- This is a perfect Trend Reversal pattern yet again where the 21 and 50 cross combined with trendbreak zone. We get a really nice 7 point move higher if taken and sold at the break of uptrend. After that we got a nice trend continuation trade where we break the uptrend and pullback to the 8 after the 8 and 21 cross yet again to the upside. If sold whent the price is 10 points extended from the 8sma then that is a great exit point.
