Day Summary: 30 Min liquidity bias and Trusting The Chart allowed me to take a quick and confident trade right after the open today. I did enter a little bit early and didn't hold to my full TP so that is why I graded myself a B+ today, but overall I followed my plan and executed a playbook set up. Also, even though I didn't hold to full TP, I do think I took the trade off in a good spot considering this was right after the open. Room for improvement sure, but overall happy with my habits and mindset today.

Trade 1 - Long 2 MES @ Range Fakeout + Trusting The Chart + HTF Bias

- playbook set up - good [range fakeout + Trusting The Chart (premarket trending up so buying the current raneg low)]
- entry was a bit early as I had planned on a VWAP/Sweep of the range low entry - this definitely could have moved down more to stop out early longs before continuing the current range
- actually, I was looking at the low at ~8:25am as a good level to enter, considering it coincided with a VWAP sweep but again I did FOMO the entry a bit on this trade
- Asia low, touch and go also gave me confidence as I saw it start to recover and I went back green on the position
- I was a bit skeptical of this trade while I was in drawdown, wondering if I had jumped the gun on the entry and was wondering where would be a logical spot to stop out of this trade (I did have my normal safety stop set at 6pts, but in terms of having a logical place on the chart to stop out, I really wasn't sure, and I shouldn't be entering a trade at all if I don't have a planned stop level)
- Target was 6993.50 which did hit, but taking it at a retest of the high just minutes after the open was the conservative thing to do so I am not really upset about that - especially since that coincided with the range that what my actual reason for taking the trade
- this is by no means a banger trade, but I worked with what the chart was giving me and was able to get all the point in the range - good
