July 21, 2025 (2 Trades) (+$31.25)
Overall Grade: C+
Day Summary: All weekend and definitely this morning, I had a weird feeling of almost anxiety about keeping my green streak alive, and that is a totally wrong mentality to have. Losses come along with trading and I need to accept that. I honestly should not have even traded because I forced a trade within 15mins of the open, and it was a no set up trade, fighting the trend. If I really wanted to keep the winning streak alive, you'd think I'd actually look for a good trade. But that is what happens. When you focus on the money or green streak, you are not focusing on the process of putting on a good trade and as a result, will cause you to make poor, emotional decisions. I kept the loss small today and was able to flip my bias and trade with the trend (even though it wasn't the best executions or set up in general) so that was a positive take away. Otherwise, today was not my best showing and I'm ready to reapproach the market tomorrow.

TRADES
Trade 1 - Short 2 MES @ Bias + No Set Up + Forced Trade + Fighting The Trend
Grade: D
- no set up - bad
- fighting the trend - bad
- thinking about the money/green streak - bad
- stopped out quick - good
FIX: Avoid. Focus on the process of putting on a good trade.
Trade 2 - Long 2 MES - Trend Continuation + PullBack
Grade: B-
- flipped bias to trade with the trend - good (biggest takeaway from this trade)
- No real set up - bad
- no key level - fomo entry
- stuck to planned STOP (6360.00)
- good job holding through drawdown, confident the trend would prevail
- great job holding winner and looking for more
- good job holding the runner on the pullback
- good trade management here, especially when I was in the green
FIX: Find a playbooked set up with a tighter stop.
