Day Summary: Another day of impatience costing me. Had i just been more patient today, I would have had some decent opportunities to take the market short. However, I took a subpar first trade after watching the market dive out of the gates which gave me FOMO. Then, even though it was subpar, Trade 1 would have worked which gave me more FOMO and ultimately led to me taking a poor trade based on emotions alone. I was literally making up a reason to trade (Order Flow gap) and took a quick L. I then revenged traded on the next candle and was also stopped out of that trade just minutes after entry. I kept the third loss small thankfully but at that point I knew I had to shut it down, which was the righ decision and starting to impliment good habits, but I noticed after that had i just waited, I would have had better short opportunities. So Patience is the word of the day.

Trade 1 - Short 2 MES @ 21 EMA Trap + Key level + Fakeout + Fighting Price Action
Grade: B-
- playbooked set up - good, however is was a subpar set up
- good entry
- felt uncomfortable in this trade mainly due to the fact that I was fighting price action (HL's that I did notice but ignored)
- this was also right before 10am which made this very hard to hold and one of the reasons I got out
- another reason i got out is we had just made 4 green candles with HLs so I didn't want to hold to my full stop
- taking a small loss when I'm not comfortable in a trade is always better than chancing it, so I can't be mad about that
Trade 2 - Short 2 MES @ Guessing/Gambling + No Set Up + Order Flow Trap (I made up an opportunity that wasn't there due to emotions)

- the only good thing about this trade is I used a stop and kept it to a normal size loss but this was just giving away free money
- remember that emotions will cause you to see opportunities that aren't there. This is a perfect example of that
Trade 3 - Short 2 MES @ Revenge Trade + No Set Up + Being An Emotional Bitch

- pure emotional revenge trade - horrible
- I should never be entering another trade a minute after taking a loss - bad habit
- kept this loss small which was a good thing but this was just another market give away
- It was smart to shut it down for the day after this and the start of implimenting good habits again which is important
