TLT: Wait and watch for clear structure. This would be an awesome long in the IRA with no options but I want to see a clear pullback first before just buying into the highs like this
XOM: I am thinking about XOM for ideas to possibly hedge against my positions in the nasdaq heavy sectors. I am unsure how to do this exactly because obviously SPY up OIL down but in recessions OIL usually is much higher. I could actually just trade the oil futures instead of hedging with options but i think ill just stick to this now to not be mixing up and confusing multiple account with different strategies.
NVDA: Already bought a deep OTM put here because we are at the upper bound of the trendline to the downside and AMD has already broken down heavily from this zone and if we get a nice 15 point move lower I could make a decent amount of money.
AMZN: We are sitting right at the pre-covid levels and are right in the center of this massive range and consolidation. I am unsure if its a good buy now just because we are still clearly in lower high lower low territory but im thinking that since we have CPI and hike next week that is most likely going to be a 50 bps hike, then I should maybe try to get a small position size now leading up to that data information.
