October 28, 2025 (1 Trade) (+$7.50)
Overall Grade: B-
Day Summary: Today I was paying attention to price action and what it was showing which allowed me to put on a pretty good trade. The problem was that I didn't have an actual playbooked set up, so as soon as I entered the trade I immediately felt like I didn't want to accept the risk, even though I was pretty confident I was on the ride side of the trade. Due to being not willing to accept the risk, I moved my stop a few ticks above breakeven to cover my comissions and decided to just let it go. Well, it popped up, stopped me out and continued to go in the direction of the correctly observed price action i had identified. To be honest, that is not the worst decision but considering it was starting to work in my favor, I should have just set my risk above the close by target resistance level above. Risking small on this trade would have been fine but I didn't want to lose anything so I went BE and sustained opportunity cost.

Trade 1 - Short 2 MES @ Price Acrion + Intuition + Bitched Out
Grade: B-
- paying attention to price action + trading in that directiong - great!
- no playbooked set up - not ideal
- I should have at least risked a close above 6917.50 resistance above instead of going BE stop but to be honest i just bitched out
- I did not want to take a loss on a trade that wasn't my set up
- I also felt a little FOMO at the fact i was trading so early in the day on a non-playbooked set up, so that made me uncomfortable immediately upon entering this trade
- That led to me being emotional and making an emotional decision about not trusting the chart and where to place my stop
- In the end of the day, overall I can't be mad at myself for getting out of a trade that wasn't following my strategy because that will save me from unnecessary losses in the future
