February Recap

Monday the first the TOS issue happened. Lost $700 due to a TOS issue and spent 10+ hours on support calls. I think this started the month for me in a bad mindset. Made me nervous to keep trading on TOS. Lot's of glitches on the app too.

"New trading rule. If there’s even any sign for TOS issues pre-market I will not trade any ticker that I am not prepared to hold for another 10 minutes on TOS. "

Always ask yourself... what's the one thing I can change that will make the biggest impact? Upon looking through my personal jounral, tradejournal, posts, trades and so on. I've really stumbled on this on major difference.

Give back ratio similar to the profit margin formula

From last month (January Day Trading)

Total Winnings (Fees Included) 17847.41
Total Losses (Fees Included) -8408.26
Net Profit (Fees Included) 9439.14

= ( 17847.41 - 8408.26 ) / 17847.41 = 53%

To the month (February Day Trading)

Total Winnings (Fees Included) 27666.24
Total Losses (Fees Included) -20604.58
Net Profit (Fees Included) 7061.66

= ( 27666.24 - 20604.58 ) / 27666.24 = 26%

That's basically HALF as consistent! Very shakey.. but why?

What are these stats let's say from start of July 2020 to end of Feb 2021, which is a month after I ended the $25k challenge and went to the Unlmited account?

Total Winnings (Fees Included) 96386.84
Total Losses (Fees Included) -52131.80
Net Profit (Fees Included) 44255.04

( 101741.19 - 57380.87) / 101741.19 = 44%

Most the damage clearly came from Feb in that avg ^^

As look at the avg if we remove Feb (July 2020 to end of Jan 2021)

Total Winnings (Fees Included) 74074.95
Total Losses (Fees Included) -36776.29
Net Profit (Fees Included) 37298.66

( 74074.95 - 36776.29) / 74074.95 = 50%

March Forecast

Day/Swing Trading

Nothing game changer new. NDX sold off quite a bit along with some of our favorite swing picks. Right now I'd be accumulating more if I could near these possible bottoms. Having longer time horrizions is key and also seperation of accounts. Day vs swing vs investment portfolios.
