October 20, 2026 (3 Trades) (+$24.00)
Overall Grade: B-

Day Summary: Today could have been a banger day but I missed some good opportunities. Why? Nothing to do with all the beers before bed last night .. Not the best sleep and I paid the price for it by not being ready to take advantage of some good trades. I missed an initial A quality set up on MNQ early in the session (I actually was trying to enter but wasn't ready to pull the trigger) and that led to some FOMO for my actualy first trade of the day. Thankfully, I cut that loss quick because I could've gotten smoked if I held it. Lose small, win big. That allowed me to flip long and take a pretty good Trade 2 which ate up all the loss of Trade 1 and some. Trade 3 on MNQ was a decent attempt but went breakeven too early out of fear. Stop trading scared. Remember that one trade is just part of the sequence of thousands of trades so it doesn't really matter if I take a loss or not.
**One thing I want to note is that today was a strong trending morning, those are the days I need to be extra aggressive and be willing to risk more because they are the days my strategy is best designed for**

TRADES
Trade 1 - Short 1 MES @ 21 EMA Trap + FOMO + Subpar Set Up
Grade: C+

- playbook set up but subpar after wick plus price action - was feeling FOMO from missing a easy winner on MNQ just minutes before
- trading in direction of the trend - good
- but, shorting low in the range (15 MIN)
- decent entry (21 EMA + Key Level) but again, subpar set up
- recognized that this was a forced trade and cut the loss quick which saved me 5 points (10 point normal stop)
- There's always a better trade to be had. Lose Small, Win Big.
Trade 2 - Long 1 MES @ Price Action + Order Flow + Dip Buy + Aggressive Entry
Grade: B

- playbook set up? No, but momentum was very strong so it was worth taking a shot, especially on the first pullback
- trading with price action - good job flipping to what the chart was showing you
- price action entry - good - fakeout - tough to take right after taking a loss on Trade 1
- good job holding through some uncomfortable pull backs (trading from the red is hard) - still closed a couple points early but that is so much improvemet from 2023-2024 Nate
Trade 3 - Long 1 MNQ @ Bear trap + Intuition + Breakeven Too Early
Grade: B-

- playbook set up - no
- trading with trend - yes, was guessing that there would be a bear trap here
- initially wanted an entry under the wicks but had FOMO
- buying low though, that's good
- no reason to move my stop to breakeven so early on this trade other than being scared to give back small gains - risk was about 16 points to wick low
- remember that one trade is just a trade in the sequence of thousands of trades. Don't trade scared.
