September 2, 2025 (1 Trade) (+$77.50)
Overall Grade: B+
Day Summary: Today was the first day back after the long weekend and the first day trading my second ever funded account. I was sick all weekend and woke up early with a headache, but after some coffee, a light breakfast and some dayquil, I was feeling much better at market open, albiet still with brain fog. But I still managed to do a good job today of not getting FOMO and waiting for the market to show me my short bias was correct and give me a set up. I had an aggressive entry on the live account, but took the same trade on the funded with an entry where I really should have gotten in on the live. That was due to FOMO and I want to recognize that, although I really did do a good job today of reminding myself to wait for the market to show me it was ready to make the move I had antisipated it would. I did, however, take calls in my TOS account and took a loss while I was waiting for the downmove. That was also a FOMO decision and I want to also recognize that here because I don't have screenshots of that trade.

TRADES
Trade 1 - Short 2 MES @ Trend Continuation + 21 EMA Reject/Trap (Aggressive Entry) + 4 Targets
Grade: B+
- targeting liquidity on the 30min - 4 targets - good
- trading in the direction of the overall trend - good
- waited for the market to show it wanted to continue the larger trend before forcing a short in the morning - best takeaway of the day!
- aggressive entry due to FOMO - bad - no set up - thankfully the trend is your friend
- waiting for my actual 21 ema reject set up would have produced a much less stressful trade (see below how I took it on the funded)
- good job holding the winner and trusting price action, but took off that 1 contract right at max pain (for the longs and for me) before the drop
**The same trade on the funded would be graded an A+**
